Size & Fit Guide

Every OverBlaze tee is cut for a structured oversized fit — roomy through the body, dropped at the shoulder, and long enough to stack slightly at the waist. It’s built to hold that shape, not hang like a sack. Here’s how to land the right size the first time.

How the fit is meant to sit

Oversized doesn’t mean pick a random size up. Our tees are drawn to their own flat measurements rather than standard high-street sizing, and those measurements run deliberately generous: the chest is wide, the shoulder seam drops past your natural shoulder line, and the body runs long. That’s the look — a clean, boxy drop.

Because the cut is its own thing, the surest way to choose isn’t to guess your usual size. It’s to compare against a t-shirt you already own and love. That method is below, and it takes about a minute.

The measurements

All figures are the garment laid flat — so “chest” is the width across the tee from armpit to armpit, not your body measurement. Sizes shown are the ones we stock: S through 2XL.

Size Chest (flat) Length Shoulder Sleeve
S 40 26 18 8
M 42 26 20 8.5
L 44 27.5 20 9
XL 46 28 21 9.5
2XL 48 30 22 10

Measurements in inches. Allow roughly half an inch of tolerance either way — these are cut, washed garments, not machined parts.

Find your size in 60 seconds

This is the reliable method — it beats guessing every time:

  1. Take a t-shirt you own that fits the way you like.
  2. Lay it flat, smooth out the wrinkles, and measure straight across the chest from one armpit seam to the other.
  3. Find that number in the Chest (flat) column above. If you want that same fit, pick the matching size. If you want it roomier, go one up.
  4. Sanity-check the length the same way, collar seam to hem, so you know how long it’ll sit on you.

Between two sizes?

Size down for a cleaner, closer drop; size up for a boxier, more relaxed one. Our tees don’t run small, so when in doubt the smaller of the two usually gives the intended oversized look without swimming in it.

What “240 GSM” actually means

GSM is grams per square metre — how much the fabric weighs, and a fair proxy for how substantial it feels. Most fast-fashion tees sit around 140–180 GSM: thin, a little translucent, quick to lose their shape.

Ours are 240 GSM — genuinely heavyweight. That’s what lets the oversized cut stand up instead of collapsing, keeps the fabric fully opaque, and makes it last through repeated washes. It’s bio-washed and pre-shrunk, so it stays true to the measurements above after you wash it, and the print is high-density with reinforced stitching at the seams.
